In November, of 1969, Neil Brown was caught
in a rocket and mortar attack at Budop.
When it was all over, his AT was toast, and Col. Lisec took these
photos.
Graciously supplied by his widow, Connie Lisec, who told us that of all
his commands during his career, Command of the 8th APS - and especially
the Mobility Teams, was his most rewarding experience.
The first photo was posted outside Col. Lisec's office at Tan Son Nhut
when I arrived in Janurary, 1970.
Since that time - and until Mrs. Lisec supplied us the orginal, this
photo had been on our list of must-find photos.
